Health & Safety FAQs
Will the event be in-person?
We will be working diligently to plan an in-person option for Unite. This will be a scaled-down version and will be following strict guidelines and protocols as outlined by the CDC and our local government, as well as our event venues and partners. As such, Unite may look and feel slightly different than previous events as we adjust to safety protocols and procedures.
What precautions and health measures will be followed during an in-person event?
In accordance with CDC and local government mandates, as well as collaborating with our venue and event partners, we will be requiring face coverings and implementing social distancing measures during Unite.
Venues will be cleaned and disinfected routinely, and sanitizing stations will be available throughout the auditorium.
We will be screening all attendees prior to arrival and ask that everyone refer to the CDC’s travel guidelines and protocols in advance of arriving in Charleston.
Will there be a virtual option?
Yes, we will be offering virtual tickets in addition to in-person tickets. Stay tuned to our event communications and website updates for the latest information on this option.
What measures is the event venue taking to ensure safety and security in light of Covid-19?
The hygiene and sanitation practices of the Gaillard Center will continue to deliver on our rigorous standards, plus expand to meet or exceed the new regulatory requirements and cleanliness protocols as recommended by the CDC.
These protocols are based on the most current information available on sanitization and cleanliness for live entertainment venues and other hospitality businesses. Learn more here.
